Run Two Firefox Profiles Simultaneously →
Why do so? Consider this, I use one Firefox profile loaded with FireBug and the pandora’s box of evil debugging tools (I won’t need them in an ideal world).
And another one for normal surfing.
Reason being it helps prevent WTF Firefox moments like this.

Why doesn't Tumblr store the pics at native res?
They’re nearly as big as the originals. I uploaded 2 png screenshots sized 150kb. The resulting thumbnails had a size of ~100kb. WTF! Yet, Tumblr reduced their resolution by ~80%. Tsk tsk.
Gmail + Google Gears = Faster, even offline access
It isn’t my brainchild and apparently, the folks at Gmail are working on it. Google Reader already uses Gears. Let’s hope they release it soon, or at least invite me soon to a beta test!

I ditched the earlier theme for poor readability. Even though it looked marvelous. Now we have a mod-ed version of a the default theme. I like it.

While I tumbled down the alley, I came across several nice Tumblr themes by different people. I finally decided to use “Black Tie” theme by Heather Rivers (link at the bottom of the page). I’ve mod-ed it a bit and will continue to tweak it once I arrange for web-space somewhere to host the auxiliary files.
